What the lineup module does
Baseballista's lineup module prepares and shares your team's lineup: batting order, defensive positions and rotations. You save a lineup per competition, publish it, and players see it in the app.
- One lineup per competition: league, cup, tournament or friendly.
- Published before the game: players know their position in advance, with no last-minute messages.
- Lineup history: see what you fielded from one game to the next.
- Positions and rotations: manage position changes during the game.
Why publish the lineup ahead of time
In many clubs the lineup is read out at the field. Players find out their position on the spot, and anyone running late hears nothing. A lineup published in the app fixes that: everyone gets the same information at the same moment, and the coach sees player availability alongside it.
Key point: a lineup published the day before gives players time to prepare, and gives the coach time to adjust if someone drops out.
